    Election of academic staff to Academic Board 2024

    Voting in the election to the Academic Board of academic staff level A-D from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology closed at 10am on 27 May 2024. The following staff have been elected for the term 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026:

    Close of nominations

    At the close of nominations for the elected academic staff positions on Academic Board at 12:00pm on 8 May 2024. Professor Abbott's nomination was the only one received for the level E position from the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. Consequently, Professor Abbott was declared elected for the term 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026.

    No nominations were received for either the level A-D position nor the level E position representing the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics, nor for the level E position representing the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. The relevant Executive Deans have nominated the following staff to these positions:

    Level A-D: Associate Professor Michelle Phillipov

    Level E: Professor Paul Coram

    Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences

    Level E: Professor Paul Delfabbro

  • Alumni Council

    Voting in the Alumni Council election closed at 10am on 16 March 2023.

    The following candidates were elected for three-year terms commencing on 1 April 2023:

    Voting in the election of undergraduate and postgraduate students to faculty boards closed at 10:00 on 18 March 2024.

    The following students were elected for the term 28 March 2024 to 27 March 2025:

  • Council

    Election of a Graduate to the University Council

    Nominations for the election of a graduate to the Council of the University of Adelaide open on 27 June 2024.

    The term of office is two years from 6 September 2024 to 5 September 2026.

    The current graduate member is Mr Ian Henschke. Mr Henschke is eligible for re-election.

    The University of Adelaide is committed to the principles of equal opportunity: equity, fairness and social justice. Members of under-represented groups, including women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, are strongly encouraged to nominate for this position.

    Graduates who have registered their email address with the University’s External Engagement Branch will receive an email from BigPulse which will contain a link to the online nomination form. Graduates can register their email address here.

    Nominations close on 11 July 2024

    Council members must not normally serve more than 12 years. Graduates who would, if elected, exceed the 12 year limit during their term of office must lodge an application with the Returning Officer, giving reasons why they should be permitted to nominate, by 5:00pm on 3 July 2020.

  • UniSuper

    Election of a Professional Staff Representative to the Unisuper Consultative Committee

    The position of elected professional staff representative on the Unisuper Consultative Committee has fallen vacant and an election is required.

    Nominations will open on 24 June 2024. When nominations open, eligible staff will receive an email sent via the University’s election service provider, BigPulse. The email will contain a link to the online nomination form.

    Nominations must be completed by by 12:00pm on 8 July 2024.
