Driving Sustainability Research: The Surrey - Adelaide Partnership Fund 2025
Unlocking Opportunities for Cutting-Edge Collaborative Research
Sustainability has never been more critical. As the world grapples with climate change, resource depletion, and environmental challenges, academia has a pivotal role in advancing sustainable solutions. To support this, the Surrey & Adelaide Partnership Fund 2025 provides an exciting opportunity for researchers to collaborate across borders and drive impactful sustainability research.
This initiative fosters collaboration between the University of Surrey (UoS) and the University of Adelaide (UoA), with sustainability as one of its four strategic focus areas. The fund aims to deepen research ties, enhance knowledge exchange, and catalyse long-term funding opportunities in sustainability and other key fields.
Funding Details & Research Scope
The Surrey - Adelaide Partnership Fund 2025 offers up to A$20,000 / £10,000 per project, enabling researchers to:
- Conduct research visits at the partner institution
- Participate in joint conferences, seminars, and workshops
- Engage early-career researchers and graduate students in sustainability research
- Lay the groundwork for larger, externally funded research collaborations
A total of 8 projects can be funded in this round. The deadline for applications is Sunday 2 March at 23:59 (ACDT) / 13:30 (GMT).
The total funding is evenly allocated between the lead investigators at each institution (A$10,000 to UoA staff and £5,000 to UoS staff), ensuring balanced collaboration and engagement.
