Coetzee Centre hosts gala book launch by poet, novelist and medical doctor, Peter Goldsworthy
On 3 April the Centre hosted a gala book launch of The Cancer Finishing School by poet, novelist and medical doctor, Peter Goldsworthy, in the presence of some 100 guests at the Ern Malley in Stepney.

The memoir offers a compelling account of Dr Goldsworthy's diagnosis and recovery from multiple myeloma, as well as documenting the extraordinary stories of his patients and their encounters with cancer over the years of the author's long career. Poet and broadcaster, Mike Ladd, launched the book, published by Penguin Random House.
