Resignation and Departure from Adelaide

Robert Charles Bragg, William Henry Bragg and Gwendoline Bragg shortly before their departure from Adelaide, ca. 1908-1909On 13 April 1908, the local newspaper ‘The Register’ reported that “South Australia is about to lose one of her most distinguished men”. Professor William Henry Bragg had announced his acceptance of the position of Cavendish Chair of Physics at the University of Leeds.
