Social Media
The University of Adelaide's main social media channels are managed by the Marketing branch and are identifiable by their name (@uniofadelaide) and blue shield profile photo.
Our channels are more than a just one-way, outbound broadcast medium – it is two-way and conversational. We use them to show that we are with our students and staff on their journey to, during and beyond the University of Adelaide – that we are invested in seeing them realising their potential through being part of us. In turn, this sense of social media community is seen and valued by prospective students and staff.
Our social media also includes customer service and managing brand reputation, as well as promotion. What we, the University of Adelaide, say about ourselves on social media is counterbalanced by us listening to what others say we are.
We are responsible for developing and curating content that elicits feelings in our audiences, providing best-in-class customer service and managing an engaged community of many hundreds and thousands.
