Mould identification: a virtual self assessment
Case history
A 40-year-old man presented with a subacute delayed postoperative inflammation of the right eye. A large corneal infiltrate developed after aspiration of the mass. Treatment with systemic, topical, and intraocular antifungal agents cleared the vitreous, but the cornea perforated. The fungus shown below was grown.
