Friends of the Library discovery event with Jade Ryles

Jade Ryles – Winner of the 2021 Hugh Martin Weir Prize – explores the impact of paternal absence and mothers’ work force participation on how children felt about their family place and relationships. Research has used the Barr Smith Library, The National Library of Australia and the Australian War Memorial Library collections.
