Is Force Feeding Justifiable?

In this interdisciplinary seminar Dr Oli Williams (Sociologist) and Helen West (specialist eating disorder dietitian) from Kings College, London explore recent debates about ‘terminal anorexia’ and ethics of care. They discuss a current research project in a specialist eating disorder clinic in England investigating a new approach that has drastically reduced the incidence of feeding under restraint and is utilising co-design methods to improve the provision of care.
