Hydrogen, mining and wine projects receive funding

The University of Adelaide is the lead partner in three projects that have received grants under the Federal Government’s Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Grants scheme. Holograms for life: improving IVF success

In a world-first, 3D holographic images of an embryo have been developed as part of a collaborative research project between the University of Adelaide and University of St Andrews. The images are created using miniscule amounts of light in a fraction of a second.
Councils confirm support to transform higher education in SA

The University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia have today entered into a formal agreement to work together to support the South Australian Government as it moves to create a combined new university for our State. The agreement, which is conditional on the provision of significant financial support by the State Government, follows careful consideration of the feasibility assessment, which was informed by public feedback, and followed the release of the universities’ joint Vision Statement in March this year.

Sleeping rough to support Australians experiencing homelessness

Professor Noel Lindsay, Pro Vice Chancellor, Entrepreneurship, and Dean of Business at Adelaide Business School at the University of Adelaide has slept rough outdoors on one of the coldest and longest nights of the year. By taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, his aim was to fundraise support for the many people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Australia.
