Investors inject $45 million into SA health and biotech industry
The Adelaide China Biotech Investment Fund has today been launched – a new $45 million investment fund that will accelerate the development and commercialisation of health and bio-technologies from South Australia for the global market.

$9 million of research targets major health issues
University of Adelaide led projects have received $9,401,459 to investigate a range of health issues such as how low-calorie sweeteners affect people with type 2 diabetes, using bioengineered tissue to rebuild eyes and the effectiveness of water fluoridation as a public health initiative.
