What research studies are conducted at Adelaide University? Why are they important?

Some of the research studies done at Adelaide University involve the voluntary participation of people to investigate a question or topic. Participating in a study can involve activities like filling in surveys or participating in interviews, through to testing new medical interventions, tests and procedures in clinical trials.

The outcomes of research studies are used to enhance society and deliver better outcomes for everyday people. For example, the outcome of a research study testing a new medicine can determine if the new intervention works effectively or improves current treatment methods.
