Free training: Recognising and Addressing Social Determinants of Health in the first 1,000 days from conception

NALHN ONLY: Free staff training on Social Determinants of Health in the first 1,000 days

The University of Adelaide are piloting a training program (1 full day) for identifying and addressing SDH.

All healthcare workers that provide care to women and children during the first 1000 days from conception are invited to participate in this pilot study.

Training is valued at up to $800 and is provided in-kind as part of the pilot study.

Please note that participation is voluntary and training will occur outside working hours. Staff will not be reimbursed by the hospital for their time.

A tentative training date has been set for Saturday 19th November between 9am and 3pm, with morning tea, lunch, coffee and snacks provided. Online content will be made available for review in early November.
