South Australia 40 under 40 and Discovery Award
Professor Zachary Munn, Director of Health Evidence Synthesis, Recommendations and Impact (HESRI) in the School of Public Health was recently announced as one of South Australia's 40 under 40. He was also one of the individual award winners on the night, receiving the CMAX Discovery Award. This award recognises an innovative leader in a life sciences enterprise whose business activities have high impact potential for future health outcomes.

GWSA Trust Postdoctoral Grants
The Graduate Women SA Trust (GWSA Trust) Postdoctoral Grants provide financial assistance to early career female postdoctoral fellows. Up to four grants valued at up to $5,000 each will be awarded in 2024. Applications are open until Monday 5 August 2024. Further information.

Create a course reading list
The University Library supports access to course reading material via the Course Readings tool in MyUni. Create or rollover your existing reading lists as early as possible, so students can access course materials from day one. For details on resources to add, see our latest blog post.
Psychosocial Risk Management Procedure
The Psychosocial Risk Management Procedure has been approved and is now available, outlining the University’s framework to manage psychosocial risks and the actions supervisors and staff must take to manage and respond to hazards or concerns. More information.
Peer review of teaching information session
If you are considering applying for an academic promotion next year, the Teaching Excellence team are holding a Peer Review of Teaching information session via Zoom for staff who have already applied for TRP in Round 2, 2024 or those who are looking to have a TRP in Round 1, 2025. Wellbeing grants program winners
The student wellbeing team is proud to announce the 25 recipients of the 2024 Wellbeing Grants Program. The program offered grants up to $1,000 for staff and student groups to provide important wellbeing services, supports and opportunities to students at the University. There are various initiatives taking place across all three campuses in coming months. More information.
Alcohol on campus
The boundaries of the University's liquor license have recently been updated. A short-term licence is now required for all events where alcohol is being served or sold on campus, except in limited circumstances. An application to serve alcohol form must also be submitted and approved. More information.
2024 Joint Seed Funding Program recipients
Global Engagement is pleased to announce that $28,000 in funding has been awarded to two initiatives through the 2024 University of Adelaide (UoA) and Shandong University (SDU) Joint Seed Funding Program. The successful initiatives aim to encourage and develop high-quality research and education collaboration between UoA and SDU. More information.
