Reminder: Research Strategy Virtual Forum
The Research and Research Training Domain invites staff from the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide to a virtual forum on Friday 16 August, to learn more about Adelaide University’s overall research strategy, and the Signature Research Theme of Personal and Societal Health.
This virtual event will be held from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm via Zoom and is open to all staff interested in staying informed on key activities relating to research leading up to the transition to the new Adelaide University. Along with exploring the Personal and Societal Health SRT, we will share updates on the research strategy and provide an opportunity to ask questions in an open Q&A.
If you are interested in attending, please register via Humanitix.
Signature Research Themes define Adelaide University’s research focus. They represent the areas of research where Adelaide University will aim to have significant capability and expertise, with a future emphasis aligned to opportunities for growth. Each theme is a grouping that reflects Adelaide University’s comprehensive disciplinary ambitions, connected by a common theme. The themes do not directly correlate to an organisational structure such as an Institute, Centre, or Concentration.
The Personal and Societal Health SRT is co-led by Professor David Waugh (UniSA) and Professor Andrew Zannettino (UoA) [Health], and Professor Kurt Lushington (UniSA) and Professor Emma Baker (UoA) [Societal].
If you want to contribute to developing a particular Signature Research Theme, please register your interest.
