Dynamic Balance for Life safe falls course
This ten-week course developed by Adelaide University Judo Club is open to everyone who would like to learn how to defend themselves from falls and injuries when they might have lost their balance. Participants will be guided through methods to improve posture and balance and also learn the four key fall techniques to minimise injury when you have a fall. Friday 9 May to Friday 11 July, 10 am to 11 am. 34 Phillips Street, Thebarton. Register.

Festival of Learning and Teaching call for contributions
Contributions are invited from academic and professional staff to present at the Festival of Learning and Teaching on Tuesday 24 June. The theme is Transformation in Learning and Teaching. Proposals for the marketplace of ideas or interactive presentations are due by 9 am Tuesday 6 May. Further information.

The Library is excited to announce that the Visualise Your Thesis programme for 2025 has officially launched. Present your research in a 60-second video or audio-visual display for a chance to win $1000. Further information.
Children’s University Adelaide on-campus experience day
On Wednesday 2 July, up to 120 Children's University students will be on North Terrace campus to experience university life through various hands-on learning activities. If you’re passionate about sharing your expertise and engaging with primary school students, academics and students are being sought to lead activities for small groups of up to 30 students at a time between 10.30 am and 2 pm.
