On 20 August 2020, PESTA hosted a Q&A webinar on the topic of 'What Makes Science Good?' as part of National Science Week.

The webinar was hosted by PESTA convenor Prof Rachel Ankeny and featured a number of presentations from some of our members, including: Prof Frank Grützner, Prof Veronica Soebarto, Dr Helen Barrie, Dr Kim Barbour, Prof Sean Connell and Dr Ian Musgrave. During the webinar, we discussed a range of topics, including the benefits of citizen science, how to find accurate and trustworthy information and the role of optimism in driving engagement.
