Short Programs
We offer a wide range of opportunities for you to participate in a short-term study program during semester breaks.
More flexibility and variety
Many students find a short program allows them more options within their degree. You may wish to take a short academic course at a partner university, or complete a placement, internship, or practical work experience requirement with an overseas host. Each experience has its own entry requirements and application process; browse through to each program's page for specific information.
Study tours
University of Adelaide intensive programs, overseas. Study tours are led by a University of Adelaide academic, and may include several destinations, or a more immersive experience at just one.
New Colombo Plan funded short programs
A wide range of high quality short programs supported by Government funding.
Summer or winter exchange
Complete a summer or winter course with one of our exchange partners, and receive a fee waiver as an Adelaide student. You must follow the given application process in order to be nominated as an exchange student.
Short term study abroad
Short-term study programs at non-partner universities, or with our providers. These programs usually require that you apply directly to the overseas university or provider, and then register your experience with us.
International internships
Can't find the right program for you? CareerHub, supported by the University's Careers Service, lists international internship and volunteering opportunities.
