WPDN Leadership
WPDN Leadership was founded in 2015 as an initiative of the WPDN Steering Committee with a purpose of inspiring women at the University of Adelaide to lead with more courage and strength of their convictions, and in doing so challenge their perceived limitations of what is possible for them.
We use the Harvard Business School’s definition of leadership, meaning that “leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence."
Our intention in creating this portfolio was to go beyond the traditional, surface definition of leadership and extend it to all areas of women’s lives; from their minds and bodies, their personal and professional lives, to what gives them meaning, purpose and joy.
We want to engage with all women from the University of Adelaide to delve into complex issues affecting women leaders and find strategies that will support them in becoming great leaders.
The WPDN Committee work with a range of different speakers to facilitate leadership seminars and workshops. Watch your WPDN e-news for more information throughout the year.
