The Writing Centre runs specialised workshops throughout the semester.

Please note: The library is commencing refurbishment and building works in the northern end of the library on Levels 1 and 2 from Monday 5th August. These spaces will be closed off. Access to the Writing Studio will be via the southern stairwell and southern lift only.

Neurodivergent Study Skills Workshops
This series of workshops is hosted by the Disability Support Unit and the Writing Centre as a collaborative effort to support neurodivergent learners at The University of Adelaide.
These workshops are designed specifically for neurodivergent learners and focus on academic study skills. Students do not need to be registered with the Disability Support Unit to attend these workshops. Self-diagnosed students are encouraged to attend. Please see the below schedule of workshops.

LANTITE Preparation workshops
This series aims to provide comprehensive preparation for the literacy component of the LANTITE, addressing both the content and the skills needed to succeed under test conditions. Each workshop includes interactive activities, practice exercises, and opportunities for feedback to assist students in preparing themselves for the LANTITE test. The series runs in two 6-week blocks, from Week 1 - Week 6 and Week 7 - Week 12.

Succeeding in classes
This seminar will introduce you to important information so you can do university study successfully. You will hear about how the university is structured, what sorts of classes you might have at uni, how to find information, and how to get a good start at uni.
