Important Information on Non-Award Enrolments

Refund and cancellation conditions
Non-award students:

  • are eligible to receive a full refund of their tuition fees if the University is unable to provide the course or courses for which they have paid.
  • are eligible to receive a full refund of their tuition fees if they withdraw from a course or courses before the census date.
  • who withdraw from a course or courses after the census date are normally not eligible for a refund of their tuition fees. They should consult student finance for information on circumstances in which refunds may be offered after the census date.

More information on fees and refunds is available for domestic and international students at student finance.

Critical dates

It is your responsibility to be aware of the relevant critical dates (i.e.: amendment and withdrawal dates) for the courses you are enrolled in.

For further information, please refer to the student critical dates.

Course pre-requisites and statement of assumed knowledge

There are educational requirements (identified as course pre-requisites) for some courses. To enrol in the course, non-award students must possess assumed knowledge equivalent to these educational requirements and must sign a declaration to this effect on their application form. If you are unsure if you have the necessary background to undertake the course, please contact the course advisor at the relevant Faculty or School before submitting your application.
