The Library has a range of events lined-up in conjunction with O'Week 2024.
There are a selection of workshops on offer for all new (and returning) students to help you get started using the Library, as well as drop-in help at the upcoming Academic Student Expos. Details of the events are listed below!

Time Session Location 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Searching and referencing with confidence
Workshop (in-person)In this workshop, you will learn how to search with confidence and explore the Library’s online resources to find all the information you need to complete your assignments. Learn how to use Library Search, Google more effectively, and how to find online and physical books, peer-reviewed articles, and more.
You will also learn how to reference with confidence and cite information using a variety of referencing styles. Learn the basics of referencing correctly, the differences between in-text and footnote referencing, and where to find support for the referencing styles you will need to use in your assignments.
