  • Rat production

    We no longer breed DA or Hooded Wistar rats but they can be sourced from ARC, Perth.

    Rat stock will be available up to 8 weeks old, rats not issued at 8 weeks of age will be culled.

    If orders received ahead of time, we will hold rats up to 8 weeks old.

    If rats are required older than 8 weeks, they will either be transferred to the Research Facility holding room, requesting campus/institution to be aged there or, will incur an extra fee of 50 cents per week.
