The Environment Institute (EI) is excited to present two talks on Sunday, 9 March, at the Frome Park Pavilion, contributing to this dynamic series that brings together compelling speakers to reflect, discuss, and inspire change.
1pm "Back from the Brink" with speakers Andry Sculthorpe , Cissy Gore-Birch OAM , Katherine Moseby and facilitated by EI Executive Director Professor Andrew Lowe
The earth faces its sixth mass extinction, with a million species at risk. This session explores rewilding in Australia, showcasing efforts to save species and restore life to our landscapes.
3pm "Adapt or Collapse?" with speakers Bhiamie Williamson, Elizabeth Mossop , Emma Bacon and Facilitator Julia Lester.
Extreme weather events are intensifying with climate change. How can Australian communities adapt? Can we redesign cities to cope, and how far are we willing to go to protect our future?
