William Laurance in Adelaide

William Laurance is visiting The University of Adelaide 29- 31 March, and is speaking at two free public events.

William Laurance is a leading conservation biologist who has worked internationally on numerous high-profile threats to tropical forests—in the Amazon, Central America, Africa, and Australasia. A highly prolific scientist, to date he has published five books and over 300 scientific articles. Professor Laurance has recently commenced a position as Distinguished Research Professor at James Cook University and is involved with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama.

While in Adelaide, Professor Laurance will present at two free public events held at The University of Adelaide.

The first talk, 'Amplify your Voice: Keys to having a Prolific Scientific Career', will be discussing ways to maximise your scientific impact and engage others through your writing, for more information and to reserve your seat for this event on March 30, click here.
