Professor Corey Bradshaw wins Future Fellowship

The Environment Institute would like to Congratulate Professor Corey Bradshaw, Director of Ecological Modelling at the Environment Institute, who was just announced as a winner of a Future Fellowship for funding commencing in 2011 by the Australian Research Council.

The announcement was made this morning in Canberra by the Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, Senator the Hon Kim Carr. Corey's project title is 'Solving the problems of estimating extinction rates in recent and geological time.'

Congratulations are also awarded to the other successful University of Adelaide applicants, including Asst Prof Francesca McInerney, who is currently working in the United States and will come here to work on her project 'Palaeoclimate reconstructions from the isotopic signatures of fossilised leaf waxes.'
