New Paper - Experimental comparison of aerial larvicides and habitat modification for controlling disease-carrying Aedes vigilax mosquitoes
A new paper written by Environment Institute members, Siobhan DeLittle, Barry Brook and Corey Bradshaw as well as Grant Williamson and David Bowman from Department of Plant Science, University of Tasmania and Peter Whelan from the Medical Entomology, Centre for Disease Control, Department of Health and Families, Northern Territory, has recently been published online in Pest Management Science.
The paper is titled ‘Experimental comparison of aerial larvicides and habitat modification for controlling disease-carrying Aedes vigilax mosquitoes’
Read and dowload the paper to find out why this field-based comparison has shown that the existing larviciding campaign is more effective than a simple environmental management strategy for mosquito control.
