New Paper: Trapped in desert springs: phylogeography of Australian desert spring snails
A new paper involving Environment Institute members Martin Breed, Michelle Guzik, Steven Cooper (also South Australian Museum) and Andrew Austin as well as Nicholas Murphy (La Trobe University) has recently been published in the Journal of Biogeography.
The paper titled 'Trapped in desert springs: phylogeography of Australian desert spring snails' investigates the phylogeographical history and determines the time-scale of population divergence of hydrobiid freshwater snails (genus Trochidrobia) inhabiting groundwater springs in the Australian desert.
