ARC Future Fellow Dr Diego Garcia-Bellido from University of Adelaide’s Environment Institute spoke with Sarah Martin from The Sound of Science about how his fossil research can help answer questions about the distant past.
Sites in South Australia's Flinders Ranges and Emu Bay, Kangaroo Island are of particular interest to the paleontologist, as they provide a unique opportunity to compare fossils from the Ediacaran and Cambrian periods with modern day organisms.
