Student Success at AQUA Conference

EarthLate last year, researchers and students from the University of Adelaide descended in Auckland for the Australasian Quaternary Association (AQUA) conference. The AQUA conference brigs together Quarternary scientists, who research the last 2.6 million years of Earth's history.

The AQUA conference was the largest event of its kind, with 130 presentations, including 12 from the University of Adelaide. Our researchers received a huge amount of positive feedback, which was recognised at the awards ceremony. Martin Ankor won a $500 award for best student poster while Briony Chamberlayne won best student technical poster and a fully funded trip to a training workshop in Wellington next year.

Congratulations to our students on their amazing success and for representing Adelaide across the ditch!
