Welcome new EI Advisory Board members
The Environment Institute would like to welcome three new Advisory Board members:
Prof. Bruce Northcote is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Engagement) within the Division of Research & Innovation at the University of Adelaide. He is also CEO of TelAri Analytics - a commercial spin out from research in his previous role as Director of the Teletraffic Research Centre and the Centre for Defence Communications Information Networking. In those roles he brought his considerable private industry communications engineering consulting experience to the Defence sector.
Ms Elaine Bensted is Chief Executive, Zoos South Australia. Since being in the role Elaine has led an improvement in the financial position of this conservation charity and an increase in Zoos SA membership base from 26,000 to over 40,000. Elaine has previously held senior positions in State and Local Government, and the private sector in the finance industry.
“It’s an exciting time for the Environment Institute, with the Advisory Board extended to bring in new members Bruce, Elaine and Chris, who bring a great diversity of expertise that will help us to focus our aims to take full advantage of the many opportunities that exist in environmental research” says Professor Bob Hill, Director of the Environment Institute.
