Dr Emma Sherratt awarded University of Adelaide Women’s Research Excellence Award for 2019
We are pleased to announce Dr Emma Sherratt has been awarded the Women’s Research Excellence Award for 2019. The WREA recognises, celebrates and promote academic women’s research excellence at early career and mid-level career levels at the University of Adelaide.
The criteria for the award includes:
Dr Sherratt will receive $5,000 for expenditure in 2019 and 2020 on activities that support her research. Congratulations to Dr Emma Sherratt.
Nine other outstanding University of Adelaide women researchers have also been recognised, receiving $5000 to support their research. The recipients for 2019 are: Dr Michelle Phillipov (Media – School of Humanities); Dr Cristina Ciobanu (School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials); Dr Chery Suwen Law (School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials); Dr Nataliia Sergiienko (School of Mechanical Engineering); Dr Jodie Avery (Adelaide Medical School); Dr Kathy Gatford (Adelaide Medical School); Dr Branka Grubor-Bauk (Bazil Hetzel Institute); Dr Elizabeth Lynch (Adelaide Nursing School); Dr Thu Phuong Pham (Business School – Accounting and Finance).
The criteria for the award includes:
- Demonstrated evidence of research excellence and impact.
- A clear strategy for using the award to further your research career.
- Research productivity within the last five years relative to opportunity.
