End of year functions and social events
As the end of 2021 approaches, University staff must be mindful of taking a reasonable and modest approach to end of year functions and social events.
2021 Year end processing deadlines
Finance & Procurement Services will be closed for business from 5pm, Friday 24th December 2021 and reopen in the new year on Tuesday 4th January 2022.
Planned upgrade to IT services
Planned upgrade to IT services impacting financial systems, log out by 4 pm Friday 3 Sept.
PeopleSoft finance and Okta integration
As part of the University’s ongoing Cyber Security upgrade, PeopleSoft Finance has now been added to the suite of systems with Okta Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
April close down period
The University will be closed for business on Monday 19th April 2021 through to Monday 26th April 2021 (Anzac Day), and will reopen on Tuesday 27th April 2021.
New procure to pay procedures
New finance and procurement services procedures effective immediately.
Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) on cancelled or postponed entertainment events
For cancelled or postponed events, please code any refunds back against the original Meal entertainment accounts.

Financial approvals prior to University shutdown
Financial Approvers and Business Reviewers are reminded to clear outstanding approvals / worklist items prior to the shutdown period.

2020 Year end processing deadlines
Finance & Procurement Services will be closed from Thursday 17th December 2020 and re-open in the new year on Monday 11th January 2021. During the extended close down period, there will be no processing of financial transactions including Requisitions, reimbursements or payments to suppliers.
