IPAS Spinoff bags Defence Teaming Centre Awards

Prof Andre Luiten, IPAS Chief Innovator, A/Prof Martin O'Connor, and their team at QuantX Labs have been awarded the prestigious DTC Innovation Award at the recent Defence Teaming Centre (DTC) Awards night. This recognition highlights the outstanding contributions of QuantX Labs in advancing defence technology.

QuantX Labs, is collaborating with BAE Systems on the $1.2bn upgrade of Australia’s over-the-horizon radar network. Their flagship product, the Cryoclock, offers signal purity that is 100 to 1000 times higher than competing devices. This breakthrough in precision allows the radar network to detect and track sea and air threats with exceptional clarity, enhancing national security capabilities.

The DTC Innovation Award celebrates the innovation and dedication of the QuantX Labs team, which continues to make significant strides in defence technology and photonics.
