Adelaide Fringe - Made while Nobody was Looking

The biennial exhibition of contemporary basketry and fibre sculptures presented by members of Basketry SA in the historical setting of Urrbrae House. Natural and recycled materials, found objects, skill and imagination make for a wonderful display.

Most of the exhibits are for sale. Part of the proceeds will go to the Friends of the Waite Arboretum, and some of the basketry material was actually grown in the Arboretum. The artists place emphasis on local and renewable materials.

Friends of the Library author event - Tim Reeves on The Death of Dr Duncan

Reeves pulls together the complex strands of police investigation, coroner’s inquest, New Scotland Yard inquiry, trial, and gay law reform initiatives in the State triggered by the unresolved murder of Dr Duncan by drowning in the Torrens in 1972 .
