Eat The Invaders

Eat The Invaders is a six-part series examining how Australia might deal with invasive species by turning them into dinner. A collaboration between the Environment Institute, Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Biodiversity Council, ABC Impact and Partnerships, and Closer Productions this special event will feature screening of Episode 5 "Cat", followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. Health Equity Reading Group

Professor Vivienne Moore (School of Public Health) will present a paper by Heise et al (2019) entitled Gender inequality and restrictive gender norms: framing the challenges to health. Professor Jennie Popay (Lancaster University) will discuss a paper by McMahon (2022) entitled What shapes local health system actors’ thinking and action on social inequalities in health?
