Career and university sessions

We’re here to help high school students learn about career options and their study choices, with a range of informative and exciting presentations and experiences. Our friendly team can take you on a campus tour, or bring their expertise to your students with a school visit. 

Our team offers tailored presentations ranging from Year 10 to 12, either at your school or on one of our campuses.

Year 12 

Discover Adelaide University, a new institution shaping the future. This session explores degree options, campuses and facilities, the SATAC application process, entry pathways, support services and student life. 

Year 11 

This presentation dives into key uni terminology, uncovers key differences between high school and university, and provides students with tips to choose the perfect degree for their future. 

Year 10

Who are you, and where are you headed? This session helps students uncover their passions, values, and motivations while kick-starting career research and planning for the road ahead. 

Study area specific

If you have groups interested in particular study areas, our team can tailor presentations to cover information on select degrees, their career outcomes and entry requirements. These can be in a range of areas including Medicine, Dentistry and Oral Health, Allied Health, STEM, Creativity, Veterinary Biosciences, Business and more.

Bring your students to explore the campuses of Adelaide University, see facilities and get a feel for student life. Guided tours are available at our Adelaide City West and Adelaide City East campuses, and our regional campuses in Mount Gambier and Whyalla.

Tours for specialist groups interested in Veterinary Bioscience, Agricultural Sciences, Viticulture and Oenology, Plant Biotechnology and Food Science can be organised at Roseworthy and Waite campuses.

We can meet individually with your Year 12 students about their university pathway. A member of our team can support students through the SATAC application process and assist them with finalising their preferences and pathways. These appointments can be conducted at your school or online.  

Adelaide University will be available to attend career events at your school, providing the opportunity for your students and parents to talk with staff about study options and collect resources.
