About Institute of Photonics, Advanced Sensing and Quantum Technologies

The Institute of Photonics, Advanced Sensing and Quantum Technologies (IPAS-QT) fosters excellence in research in materials science, chemistry, biology, engineering and physics and develops disruptive new tools for measurement.

IPAS-QT has been created to bring together experimental physicists, chemists, material scientists, biologists, experimentally driven theoretical scientists and medical researchers to create new sensing and measurement technologies. We are built on a strong ongoing partnership with the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) and their support of numerous research projects and positions.
