Identify predatory journals and conferences that might damage your research impact and professional reputation if you publish with them. This workshop will help you assess a journal and conference to identify whether it is legitimate or possibly predatory. Monday 1 July, 10–11 am. Register.

Third Party Arrangements
Third Party Arrangements (TPAs) are any agreements made by the University with another party, either in Australia or overseas, to deliver a University program or part of a program, such as teaching delivery or assessment, which leads to the conferral of an academic award. Supplier & Payment Procedures
Minor amendments to the Supplier & Payment Procedures were approved by the Policy Custodian on 18 June, effective immediately.
Review of postgraduate programs in artificial intelligence and machine learning
The University is currently undertaking a Review of the Postgraduate Programs in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Education Quality invites staff to make a submission on matters relevant to the Terms of Reference. Submissions can be uploaded to the online form now until Friday 12 July, 5 pm. More information.

Our ranking has risen again with the University moving to 82nd in the 2025 QS World University Rankings. Research is a vital component, and we continue to deliver outstanding research performance. This is evidenced by the recognition of our researchers at a national level through fellowships.
Our staff culture survey
Earlier this year, we invited staff at the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide to take part in our first cross-institutional Staff Culture Survey. The survey aimed to better understand our current university cultures and what staff would like to preserve as we work together to define our desired culture for Adelaide University.
Waite Campus Wine Sale

The Winter Waite Wine Sale is here. We will be releasing new wines and varietals as well as the limited release Waite 100 Whisky. The wine and spirit will be open for tasting and purchase. Thursday 20 June 10 am to 4 pm. Hartley Grove, Waite Campus winery. More information.
King's Birthday honours

More than 20 members of the University of Adelaide community have been awarded King’s Birthday honours, recognising exceptional contributions to their fields of expertise. Among the recipients are six Members of the Order of Australia (AM), 12 Medals of the Order of Australia (OAM) and five Public Service Medals. Read more.
