In the 2024 Hugh Stretton Oration Productivity Commission Chair Danielle Wood, one of Australia's leading policy analysts and University of Adelaide graduate, will discuss what we know about economic inequality in Australia and how it has changed over time. She will explore the factors that contribute to how different groups are faring and whether governments can and should do more.
