Study Overseas is calling on all students who have undertaken - or will undertake - an overseas study experience with the University of Adelaide between 1 July 2022 and 31 July 2023 to submit photo(s) and/or video(s) from your time overseas for the chance to win a AUD150 Ultimate Student eGift Card.
Students’ previous experiences overseas play such an integral role in inspiring and informing current and future students’ plans to study overseas. This competition provides the chance for you to share your experiences with your fellow and future peers. Your creative outputs might also form part of our new promotional material!
Categories
We’re looking for entries in the following categories:
Campus: Show us your day-to-day student life on campus through photos!
What we’re looking for:
Photos of student accommodation, on-campus facilities, classrooms/lecture theatres, and anything else that you can see or do while at your host university. To make it interesting, this can include photos of any events hosted on campus, such as orientation week, study abroad fairs, sporting events or everyday life on campus.
Beyond the Classroom: Show us student life beyond the classroom!
What we’re looking for:
Photos of any activities that you’ve done on or off campus during your overseas experience. This can include photos of any trips taken during your down time, your adventures in your host city, or even how you unwind after a hard day’s studying.
Students in Action: Show us what you have been up to during your travels!
What we’re looking for:
Photos of students learning inside and outside of the classroom. This includes photos of students in class, out in the field on study tours or learning on the go. In short, anything showing YOU learning in action while overseas.
WOW Factor: Show us your photos of any amazing sights that you saw during your travels!
What we’re looking for:
Photos of anything that made you go “Wow!” This can include photos of any landmarks, sights, natural wonders or events you’ve experienced.
Industry Connections: Show us your experience with growing your international network!
What we’re looking for:
Photos of YOU in action during your internship and/or placement, or even photos of you networking at events related to industry or your host institution. This can include photos of your doing activities with an exchange buddy, attending social networking events through student clubs and associations, study tour networking.
Reel It – Video: Show us video footage of your travels!
What we’re looking for:
A short video highlighting your overseas travel experience. This can include video footage of you on campus, exploring your host location, summarising your study tour experience or experiencing cultural activities.
Submission
Submission requirements are listed in the Terms and Conditions and must be read prior to submitting any entry. By submitting an entry, you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
All entries should be submitted through Box.
Photos must be high resolution and a minimum file size of 3MB.
Videos must be in mp4 format and between 30 and 90 seconds.
The competition concludes at 16:30 PM (UTC+9:30) on 31 August 2023.
