The Alderman-Kleeman Research Travel Scholarship in Geoscience was established in 1976 in recognition of Professor AR Alderman and Dr AW Kleeman, distinguished leaders in their fields of geology and mineralogy, to support and encourage postgraduate geoscience students in their research.
The Scholarship is to be used to cover travel costs associated with presenting a research project at a major international conference or spending periods of time at geoscience institutes or visiting geological locations relevant to the research project.
The successful applicant will receive a lump sum payment of up to $4,500 to support their travel costs

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in a Graduate Research program in the School of Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences; and
- Be undertaking research in the area of geoscience.
Selection criteria
The scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process managed by the Adelaide University Graduate Research School, based on academic merit, research potential, benefit of the outlined travel to the applicant’s Graduate Research program and relevance to geoscience.How to apply
