The scholarship supports women who demonstrate academic achievement and positive engagement with the community, and who identify as one or more of the following: an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; a person with refugee status; or a person living with a recognised disability.

Successful applicants will receive a stipend of $8,000 p.a. for up to 3 years (PhD) or 2 years (MPhil), pro-rata for half-time enrolment.
