What an incredible day March 8, 2024, was for the University of Adelaide!  "ThincHer-style" – “International Women's Day 2024” event was nothing short of spectacular, celebrating the remarkable accomplishments and contributions of the university's female leaders. This event wasn't just another entry in the university's calendar; it marked a significant milestone in the 150-year history of celebrating female empowerment within academic community. With over 800 participants converging in a vibrant display of unity and joy, the atmosphere was electric. Every attendee was there not just to celebrate but to reinforce a collective commitment to advancing women's empowerment. The event transformed an ordinary day into a powerful movement towards empowerment, making it a truly unforgettable chapter in the University of Adelaide's rich history. Under the bright Adelaide sun, this day was more than a celebration; it was a united step forward in the ongoing journey toward equality and empowerment.

Special thanks: The event's significance was further amplified by the presence of esteemed academics like Acting Executive Dean and Professor of Marketing, Jodie Conduit, and Dean of Business and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Entrepreneurship) Noel Lindsay. Special Thanks goes to Zrinka Tokic, Director ThincLab and Australian eChallenge for her guidelines and strategic leadership in establishing ThincHer’s strong brand image in the mind of future women entrepreneur.  Emma Hale's photography captured the essence of ThincHer's International Women's Day, highlighting moments of joy, unity, and empowerment that resonated with the celebration's spirit. Organising committee: Central to the event’s success was the unwavering dedication and collaborative spirit of the 2024 ThincHer Organizing Committee. This dynamic assembly of individuals, each bringing their unique strengths to the table, orchestrated a symphony of empowerment and innovation. Vanessa Mercurio, with her strong leadership skills and unparalleled marketing expertise, alongside Oveena Widyaratne's passionate ambassadorial drive, set new benchmarks for influence and impact. Their combined efforts, along with the digital prowess of Ipsita Biswas and Skylar Miao, and the strategic partnerships fostered by Kelly Chung and Lavanya Saini, have broadened ThincHer's horizons and deepened its impact. The event was also a showcase of ThincHer's creative and strategic capabilities, with Shristi Sanyogika transforming events into catalysts for change, Tazrin Rahman's awareness campaigns resonating deeply across communities, and Mahreen Sultana's compelling content capturing the essence of ThincHer's mission.
