The ThincHer program aims to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and mindset to excel as entrepreneurs and/or leaders in their respective fields. Through a combination of interactive workshops, experiential learning, and networking opportunities, being involved empowers participants to unlock their full potential and take charge of their future.

    As a professional from industry, there are several meaningful ways you can contribute to the ThincHer Program:

    1. Become a Mentor: ThincHer values industry insights and experience. You can volunteer as a mentor to guide aspiring female entrepreneurs and students in their journey, helping them refine their business ideas, develop leadership skills, and gain industry knowledge.

    The time commitment varies depending on your role within ThincHer.

    For Community Members: As a valued member of our community, your time commitment primarily involves attending the monthly masterclasses and networking events. Typically, this would require approximately 2 hours per month, allowing for a manageable balance with your studies.

    For Committee Members: As a dedicated member of the ThincHer committee, your responsibilities extend to facilitating events and ensuring the smooth functioning of the program. This would involve a commitment of approximately 1-2 hours every fortnight. We understand the importance of your university commitments and have designed the workload accordingly.

    Moreover, being part of the organizing committee offers recognition through accreditation on the Adelaide Graduate Award and formal appreciation on your transcript.
