Web templates conditions of use

The following details the components comprising the templates and what aspects of these may, and may not, be altered. Your use of the templates within your local site means that you have accepted these conditions of use. We also recommend that you view the guidelines for use.

Style sheets

The templates have been built on style sheets. These will ensure that all users will see a consistent University of Adelaide page, regardless of their browser. The style sheets must not be altered. All font displays must follow the style sheets.

Topbar zone

The global navigation bar is consistent throughout the University of Adelaide site and must not be altered.

Pagehead zone

The elements of the pagehead zone must not be altered. These include the specifications of the pagehead (size, colour etc), the University of Adelaide logo and the red line under the pagehead.

The Faculty identifier must reflect the University's corporate style. The font to be used is Zurich Condensed Bold Size, with a size of 32 points and leading of 32 points.

The image bars that appear in the pagehead zone are optional, however, any new image bars must be created in consultation with the Online Media Unit.

Navigation zone (in two-column and three-column templates)

While the names of the links within the navigation zone can change, the font style of the links must not be altered. The dimensions of this table must also not be altered.

The style and layout of contact details within the navigation zone must follow the guidelines as supplied in the templates.

Content zone

If a content heading is used, it must be displayed as one of headings 1 to 6 in the style sheets. Example:
heading content here
. If a Photoshop (graphic) heading is produced it must conform to the image guidelines.

If used, the breadcrumb trail must use breadcrumb style as laid out in style sheets.

The content for the page maintainer must be altered to reflect local area or faculty, but the display style must not be altered.
