Services to Schools

With so many options available to students in relation to study and career pathways, the University of Adelaide recognises the importance of providing relevant and current academic program information to school teachers and students. The University offers a range of services both on its own campuses and in schools to ensure that students are equipped to make the right decisions about their futures.

General Services

• Guided tours of the campuses with either a general or specific focus;
• Presentations in schools by University staff and current students on a wide range of career, study and research areas;
• Attendance at careers information evenings or expos.

Visits to schools by our Prospective Student Advisers:

• Encourage students to consider tertiary education and to plan their SACE subjects accordingly
• Provide information about careers, academic programs, scholarships, bonus point schemes, admission and entry requirements, fees and financial assistance, support service and campus life.

Student Recruitment Calendar

Please refer to the SATAC Student Recruitment Calendar when planning your school's Career and Study events. If you would like the University of Adelaide to be involved in a specific school event, you should fill in an online booking form; email Tracy Dancer or telephone (08) 8303 8257.

We are unable to accept invitations to events during the week before and three days after Open Day, which will be held on Sunday 17 August. Therefore, if you would like us to attend your event, please do not book it between Monday 11 - Wednesday 20 August inclusive. A booking form on the SATAC Schools Liaison website can make booking these events easier for you.

The Aim for Adelaide program provides an opportunity for year 9 and 10 students to come to our North Terrace campus, take part in some fun activities and get to know how the University works.

The program is available to Fairway Schools and material will shortly be distributed to those eligible. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please contact:
