Event description

Bringing educators together to share practical ideas, innovative approaches and future directions for English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI), Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and multilingual learning.

The festival will provide opportunities to reflect on practice, build connections within education sectors, and celebrate the innovation, growth and successful classroom practices that educators have developed in recent years. Sessions will showcase best practice, real-world examples and practical strategies that support learner engagement and meaningful learning through English, while also looking ahead to the next chapter of EMI.

The program will include 2 distinct streams:

  • EMI stream for tertiary educators
  • CLIL stream for school teachers

Sessions will include:

  • 30-minute presentations, including at least 5 minutes for discussion or Q&A
  • 60-minute interactive workshops designed around active participation, collaboration and practical classroom application.
