Presentations

Join us for a series of short, informative presentations covering everything you need to know about studying at Adelaide University in Mount Gambier. Learn about our degrees, entry pathways, scholarships, and the support available to help you succeed.

 

Each session includes a Q&A, along with the opportunity to experience the facilities you’ll learn in, so come with your questions!

Information booths

Chat one-on-one with friendly staff at our information booths and get personalised advice on your study options. Ask about entry requirements, how to apply and what to expect from different degrees. Talk through subject choices, course structures and possible career paths. Find out about scholarships, accommodation and support while you study.

Campus tours

Discover what it’s like to study at Adelaide University’s Mount Gambier Campus with a guided tour led by our friendly staff and students.

 

Explore our purpose-built learning spaces, including specialised facilities for nursing, education and social work, and get a feel for campus life in a welcoming regional setting. Tours run regularly throughout the day – no bookings required!

The following degrees are offered at the Mount Gambier Campus:

  • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
  • Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Midwifery
  • Bachelor of Social Work
  • Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Ageing & Disability
  • Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Human Services

You can also study a pathway program:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Pathway

If you live in or near Mount Gambier, Open Day is a great opportunity to explore the campus, meet the teaching and support staff and chat to current students about their study experiences. We can also help you with your application to university. 

Set in the scenic Limestone Coast region, Adelaide University’s Mount Gambier Campus offers contemporary learning facilities within South Australia’s largest regional city. A four and a half hour drive from Adelaide.

The Mount Gambier campus is accessible to all. Complete with ramps and accessible study spaces.

The campus is co-located with TAFE SA at the Budinya Precinct Mount Gambier, sharing access to the cafeteria. The cafeteria is only open during week days and during normal study times. No food options will be available at the Mount Gambier campus on the day of Open Day.

There is ample free parking available on campus, accessible off Wireless Road.

Tours will be offer at the end of a presentation session or on demand. Just visit our “Campus Tours Here” sign in the Piazza.

Yes you can! We will have a team of people available to assist with your application either via SATAC or via an internal application process, depending on what you want to study.

Join us at the Adelaide University Mount Gambier Open Day as we celebrate culture, connection and community. Experience Welcome to Country and didgeridoo by Nathan Watson, traditional weaving with Brydie Lewis, and take part in meaningful yarns and connections, with an Elders’ table available during lunch for shared conversations and learning.

Classes at the Mount Gambier Campus are mostly scheduled close together, so you should only need to be on campus 1-2 days per week, making it ideal for those who live in outlying towns. Experience small class sizes, with ready access to academic and support staff. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our campus community.
