Guest Speaker - Dr Erik Sperling
The Environment Institute presents a free public seminar by Dr Erik Sperling from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University, USA on Tuesday 5th June.
The talk is titled 'Oxygen, ecology, and the Cambrian radiation of animals'.
Erik Sperling is Agouron post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University. His multidisciplinary work on the early evolution of animals has spanned morphology, palaeontology, geochemistry and molecular genetics. One of his major current interests is the role of environmental change, particularly fluctuations in oxygen levels, on the physiology and ecology of early animals.
When: Tuesday 5th June
Time: 12:10pm
Where: Madigan Room 122, Mawson Labs, University of Adelaide
All Welcome!
