58th Scientific Meeting of the Australian Mammal Society
Registration for the 58th Scientific Meeting of the Australian Mammal Society opens tomorrow (June 1st).
The organising committee welcomes all those interested in Australian mammals, their ecology, biology, management and conservation to join them in Port Augusta on September 23-27 2012. You will be treated to an exciting scientific and social program including both marine mammal and reintroduction symposia and the scientific meeting.
Talks and poster abstracts are encouraged.

- 3-day post-conference tour including “Bounceback” in the Flinders Ranges and “Arid Recovery” near Roxby Downs (mammal highlights: yellow-footed rock wallabies, bilbies, western barred bandicoots, burrowing bettongs, sticknest rats, spinifex hopping mice; also plenty to see for the bird watchers and the herpetologists).
